REGULAR MEMBERS:
Individuals who cover golf on an ongoing and active basis and have paid the required dues. Writers, broadcasters, web-based communicators and photographers will be screened to assure that they are active in golf on a regular basis. REGULAR members may hold the office of President and Vice President of the Association. In instances where participation in CGRA events is limited by number, REGULAR members have the first right of refusal of participation.
REGULAR membership shall be open to individuals employed by a newspaper, television station, radio station, or other medium that regularly cover golf. Membership is also open to writers or photographers employed by publications, television or radio programs specializing in golf.
CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP:
CORPORATE membership is open to designated representatives of any company directly involved with golf marketing agencies or manufacturing or distributing companies affiliated with golf. CORPORATE members are not eligible for the position of officer of the CGRA, but are eligible for Board membership.
LIFETIME MEMBERS:
LIFETIME membership in the organization is an honorary non-dues paying status for long-term and retired members of the Carolinas Golf Reporters Association who have established a record of service to the organization over their history of membership. LIFETIME membership is awarded only by majority vote of the membership upon recommendation by the Board of Directors.
LIFETIME members are not eligible for the position of officer of the CGRA but are eligible for Board membership.
