Alan Blondin, Myrtle Beach Sun-News, Golf Writer
Alan Blondin has been a golf writer for the better part of two decades, beginning in 1990 at the Middlesex News in Massachusetts . From there, Alan moved to the Victoria Advocate in Texas and in 1993, landed a job with the Myrtle Beach Sun News in South Carolina. He has covered every Masters Tournament since 2000, as well as seven straight U.S. Opens and PGA Championships. Alan has won four Associated Press Sports Editors Top 10 writing awards, including the top sports feature story in the country in 2006 for newspapers with circulations between 40,000 and 120,000.
