Bill Hensley

Bill Hensley is a public relations executive from Charlotte who specializes in golf and travel.  He is a native of Asheville, North Carolina and a graduate of Wake Forest University.  He is a Navy veteran of World War II, and served in the South Pacific.  
A veteran writer, publicist and promoter, he has been inducted into the North Carolina Journalism Hall of Fame, the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame and the Carolinas Golf Hall of Fame.  He originated the North Carolina Golf Panel in 1995 and serves as chairman.   His clients have included a variety of resorts and golf courses including Pine Needles, Mid-Pines, Pinehurst, Old North State Club, Pebble Beach, Piedmont Airlines and others.
