CGRA President

 Betsey Mitchell is an active freelance writer with her main emphasis on golf-related topics. Her journey into writing began when Howard Ward, columnist with The Pilot in Southern Pines and fellow North Carolina Golf Panel member suggested she write something about women’s golf.
That suggestion segued into many articles in numerous magazines, including a monthly Dueling Divots for Triad Golf Today and Triangle Golf Today, and profiles and features in the Carolinas Golf quarterly magazine.
Betsey serves on the Advisory Board for the North Carolina Golf Panel and is a board member for the Women’s Carolinas Golf Association. She is a certified Golf Rules Official and volunteers at tournaments throughout the Carolinas and elsewhere.
