Nancy O’Connell, The Pilot, Columnist

After a career as a pharmacist, Nancy O'Connell retired to Whispering Pines, North Carolina, in 1992 with her now late husband Stanton O'Connell.  She is a golf columnist for the Pilot and writes columns that feature human interest stories, golf travel and weekly results from the local courses in the Pinehurst area.  She served with the United States Peace Corps from 2003 to 2005 in Suriname, South America.  Today she leads a busy life with her golf writing, membership in the Golf Writers of America Association, and the CGRA.  Nancy is also active in her church and her community.
