Reid Spencer - Metrolina Golf Magazine

A golf reporter for more than 30 years, Reid Spencer publishes three regional golf magazines in the Southeast: Metrolina Golf Magazine (Charlotte, N.C.), South Carolina Golf Today (statewide) and Metro Atlanta Golf Today.

He also provides the majority of the golf content for The Sporting News, the third largest weekly sports magazine in the United States.

Spencer is the author of 50 Greatest Golfers: A Celebration of the All-Time Best (Sporting News 2002) as well as two books on NASCAR racing. He is currently working with golfer Doug Sanders on a biography.

Spencer has also covered the NBA and NCAA basketball and football. He holds a degree in Drama from Yale University, where he also played on the varsity golf team.
